
RANAU: Some 39,548 candidates in Sabah began their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) written examination on Thursday.
State Education Director Datuk Raisin Saidin said the exams would run for five weeks, concluding on Feb 6.
AdvertisementOf the total, 35,232 candidates are from KPM schools, 472 from government agency schools, and 234 from State Religious Secondary Schools.
Additionally, 2,425 private candidates and 1,185 private school candidates are taking part in the exams.
