The agent of Gareth Bale has confirmed Real Madrid pulled out of a deal with Jiangsu Suning.
It broke on Sunday that Real had ended talks with the Chinese giants over the sale of the Wales captain.
And speaking with ESPN, agent Jonathan Barnett confirmed the reports.
"They changed their minds when the player was given the go-ahead to negotiate a departure," said Barnett.
"And while the agreement was close to being finalised, the club has backed down."
