Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris believes the time for talking is over.
The Spurs skipper does not want players to keep talking about how they want to win trophies with the club.
He wants everyone at the club to do their talking on the pitch, ensuring they pick up that silverware that has eluded them under Mauricio Pochettino.
Lloris said to reporters: "We have been talking about trophies now for at least two seasons.
"It is one thing to talk about it it is another thing to show what we can do. We don't need to talk any more about winning trophies.
"It is the ambition of the board, it is the ambition of the manager and the coaching staff and it is the ambition of the players.
"So we don't really need to add any more words about this. Just focus on our performances and our games and try to be as consistent as we can and finish as high as we can.
"We don't want to lose energy talking, we just want day-by-day to do our best. Of course we can capitalise by taking belief from the last two or three seasons when we have been great and we just have to carry on.
"But there is no secret about how you get there. It is about work, it is about mentality, it is about personality. But I think we are looking forward to this season.
"It is important to get things right from day one, which we did, and now we are just preparing to do our best in the next game."
