Tuaran: Forty-five teams are competing in the Sabah Chief Minister’s Cup Sepak Takraw Tournament which will last three days at Dewan Seri Sulaman here.
The open competition which started yesterday (Friday) consisting of teams from the entire district is organised by the Sabah Sepak Takraw Association (Astaka) and the Welfare Bureau of the Sabah People’s Coalition (GRS) Tuaran Division.
Political Secretary to the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah, Sarawak and Special Duties), Mohammad Ghazali Hajiji said the platform involved was very important in discovering the talents of players, especially young players among the participants.
