Lucas Paquet is confident of success under new AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli.
Milan lost 2-1 to Lazio on Sunday - the first time they'd been beaten at San Siro by the Romans since 1989.
But Paqueta insists on Pioli: "We speak very frankly. This makes the difference because it is important for a coach to tell you where and what you can improve, so I am very happy to work with him.
"I am improving as a footballer, I feel I can do better from game to game, I hope."
He also said, "We are in a difficult situation. Milan must always aim to win, fight for the title, important trophies. Returning to the Champions League is our goal and we will do everything to make it."
