Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Manchester United were robbed of a penalty in Thursday's uninspiring goalless draw with AZ Alkmaar.

United substitute Marcus Rashford went to ground under a clumsy challenge from Stijn Wuytens in a game that included few chances for either side.

The Red Devils did not have a single shot on target in the match, with David De Gea forced into a couple of sharp saves.

It was United's tenth straight away game without a win, and speaking after the game Solskjaer was disappointed his team didn't receive a spot-kick.

"It's a penalty 101 times out of a 100," Solskjaer told BT Sport.

"How many times this season have we not got penalties? Against Arsenal that would be 2-0, tonight would have been 1-0.

"It would have topped off a very good performance away from home against a very good team. We've come here and should have won."
