KUNAK: A 39-year-old driver of Toyota Vigo sustained leg injuries after the vehicle crashed into a ravine at KM3 Jalan Kunak-Lahad Datu, Sunday.

District Fire and Rescue Department Chief Mohamad Omarbatha said they received the emergency call at 1.19pm via the MERS 999 line.

A team of five members led by Operations Commander Rosman Gari went to the scene on a fire engine and EMRS ambulance.

“Firemen managed to extricate the victim who suffered leg injuries using special equipment.
