BEIJING: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Kuril Islands at 0435 GMT on Friday, the US Geological Survey said, reported Xinhua.

The epicentre, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 47.14 degrees north latitude and 154.06 degrees east longitude. - Bernama
