BEIJING: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted South Sandwich Islands region, in the south Atlantic Ocean, at 2210 GMT on Saturday, the US Geological Survey said, reported Xinhua.
The epicentre, with a depth of 45.8 km, was initially determined to be at 58.98 degrees south latitude and 25.62 degrees west longitude. - Bernama
