A 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck near the southern coast of western Honshu, Japan, on Saturday, according to the GFZ.
A magnitude 5.83 earthquake struck near the southern coast of western Honshu in Japan on Saturday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The quake was at a depth of 59 km (36 miles), GFZ said.
