SANDAKAN: The Sabah Immigration Department last Wednesday supervised the sea transfer of 527 illegal immigrants (PTIs) to their country of origin in the Philippines through the port.
Sabah Immigration Director Sitti Saleha Habib Yusoff said it was the 12th Series of the “Program Pemindahan Tahanan Pendatang Asing Tanpa Izin” for this year.
She said the transfer this time involved Filipino citizens, comprising 383 adult males, 106 adult females, 20 male youths and 18 female youths.
