Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola supports a shortened transfer window.
Many Premier League managers are unhappy with the deadline falling a clear three weeks before the rest of Europe.
But Guardiola argues: "I like to finish it. England is a leader in many areas when it comes to how things should be done.
"It is perfect for the manager and the club that the transfer window is closed when the season starts. Hopefully the rest of Europe will follow England.
"I think it's the best thing: Before the first round of the Premier League, you know exactly which players you're going to use until the January transfer window."
