Newcastle United fullback Achraf Lazaar has signed with Cosenza for the rest of the season.
The Moroccan is not part of the first team plans at the St. James' Park club.
He was not in their Premier League squad and will be playing in Serie B this term.
Lazaar has two years left on his contract with Newcastle.
If he has a successful time at Cosenza, he would be hoping to attract interest from other Italian clubs.
Lazaar played for Palermo in Italy before joining Newcastle.
