Former PSG coach Laurent Blanc has paid to tribute to Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

Blanc says Guardiola transformed the game while in charge of Barcelona.

He told France Football: "Pep managed to instil his game philosophy during his four years with Bara. I remember memorable matches against Real, 6-2 in Madrid (May 2, 2009) or 5-0 at Camp Nou (November 29, 2010), or in the Champions League final (in 2009 and 2011 against Manchester United), it was great art!

"So, yes, we were in Barcelona, the cradle of this game. Yes, there was Messi. Yes, there was Xavi, Busquets and Iniesta in the middle. But who has associated them with this? Believe me, it's not given to everyone."
