Former Barcelona captain Carles Puyol says supporters will welcome Antoine Griezmann - should he arrive from Atletico Madrid.
Griezmann has gone AWOL from Atletico preseason as he waits to join Barca.
"First he has to come and if he comes, the fans will be with him like they are with all Barcelona players, but first he has to come," Puyol insisted.
"Great players are compatible, but you have to find a balance.
"The season is very long, there are injuries and lots of competitions, so the better squad you have, the easier the results will come."
