West Brom boss Slaven Bilic is threatening Norwich City's plans for Benfica midfielder Filip Krovinovic.

The Baggies are planning to approach Benfica with an offer, although the Portuguese club may prefer a loan deal because Krovinovic still has three years left on his deal, says the Express & Star.

Albion are keen to lower the average age of their squad this season and Bilic has identified the Croatian under-21 international as a key target for the summer.

Norwich are also competing for the Croatian's signature.

The midfielder is attracted to a move to Carrow Road with Norwich now in the Premier League.

Krovinovic played nine times last season as he battled with a knee injury.
