Kieran Trippier is enjoying his first weeks with Atletico Madrid.
The summer arrival from Tottenham has quickly adjusted to coach Diego Simeone's demands.
Trippier told AFP: "During these years you can see how strong Atltico has been, their teams have always looked like a family, and that is what I feel now.
"Everything comes from Cholo, I think he can take me to the next level.
"For a defender I don't think there is a better place to be."
He added: "The passion he has is incredible, in the games he is seen celebrating the tackles as if they were goals, it is something that gives you a great boost. I am working with one of the best coaches in the world - and Atltico is one of the biggest teams in Europe: it's a step forward."
