Pochettino was expressing annoyance over his bit-part role in Spurs' transfer strategy.
The comments did not go down well with the club's hierarchy, according to the Daily Mail.
The club do not plan to change their current transfer process, which sees a four-man panel, including Pochettino, make decisions on deals.
