Former England manager Glenn Hoddle believes that young Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham may be upset with the club's manager Frank Lampard.

Chelsea enjoyed an impressive 1-0 away win against Ajax in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

But it was Michy Batshuayi that got the winning goal for the Blues, not Abraham.

The latter came off after 71 minutes, before the winner was scored.

"He's [Batshuayi] played his way into maybe the team, maybe the squad but you can rely on him, that's what the manager knows now," Hoddle told BT Sport.

"He's got [Olivier] Giroud up his sleeve as well.

"But it could be also a good performance for Abraham.

"Because he's sitting there now thinking, 'I was disappointed at being taken off. He's won the game for us.'

"He's now got to elevate his game, he's got to stay right at the top where he was.

"It's all round been a fantastic night for Frank."
