Hamza Choudhury is embracing the midfielder competition at Leicester City.
The Foxes youngster wants to take his game to another level after featuring in nine Premier League outings last term.
"With competition, I think it makes us better as footballers," said the young midfielder in an interview with LeicestershireLive.
"There is loads and loads of quality throughout the squad, so it's a good thing to have.
"We've come back and the competition is at another level, so it's just about fighting for your place and deserving to play.
"I want to be able to play well, perform and first and foremost helping the team.
"It was nice to get quite a bit of game time last year and it's given me a taste for what I want to do this season, so I'm looking forward to it."
