1. Fly Me To KL

Perched on the 37th floor of Regalia Residence, this spot promises an eclectic ambience and the best views of the Kuala Lumpur (KL) skyline. This KL café is barely even a year old and is a sister café of Penang’s popular Fly Me To café.

They serve a wide variety of meals, drinks and mouth-watering desserts for you to indulge in as you soak up the chill vibes. There’s not much room for disappointment with this café but be sure to make a reservation beforehand as this spot gets packed!

2. Eden Rooftop Café

This café is considered a “hidden gem” as it’s not that popular (yet) and is located at a pretty secluded spot in Lot 10. With lots of greenery and an affordably-priced menu, this café is also a good location for study/work dates.

It has a cosy feel, with lots of seating available indoors and outdoors if you’re looking for more of a natural breeze. The café is usually quiet, ensuring a chill experience. We recommend coming here for tea time as they have good coffee and plenty of yummy cakes to satisfy your sweet tooth!

3. Base Camp KL

This next café is located at The Row KL (formerly known as Asian Heritage Row), which is a pretty hip spot that houses many unique restaurants and bars.

Base Camp KL adopts a rustic, glamping/camping interior style (as the name suggests). Thanks to its rooftop location, we guarantee this café to be breezy, especially in the evening. The food and alcoholic drinks served here are highly favoured, plus, they’ve got a pretty high rating of 4.5 stars on Google reviews.

What makes this café so special to us is that it’s pet-friendly too! So don’t be surprised if you see some furry animals just chilling here.

We highly recommend coming to this café in the evening to watch the sunset. This spot is also great for friend groups to just lepak for a while to catch-up and get their money’s worth on the food and drinks served.

D’Roof Café serves Western cuisine at affordable prices, has a bar AND a pool. You can even rent out the place for an event. Customers can opt to sit alfresco, by the pool or even at the swing table! What’s there not to love about this place?

Little Salty Café is located at Ampang and a much-loved makan spot for families. The food served here is affordably priced, with hearty portions and a delicious taste.

The dessert selection is pretty extensive, ranging from artisanal pastries to decadent cakes, a must-try if you ever visit this café. This location is unique as it also serves as an event space so if you’re thinking of a space to host a family event, definitely consider Little Salty Café.
