
SANDAKAN: The Immigration Department on Tuesday deported 750 Filipino illegal immigrants detained at four depots since 2020.
The deportation was the ninth this year, an official said, adding the Filipinos had been detained at Immigration depots in Tawau, Sandakan, Papar and Kota KInabalu.
The Filipinos, aged between one and 88, were deported from Sandakan Port to Zamboanga City Port in the Philippines.
