Southampton are refusing to budge over their price for Guido Carrillo.
The Argentine is wanted back at Leganes after last season's successful loan under former Saints manager Mauricio Pellegrino.
However, AS says Saints' 20m asking price is deemed far too steep.
Leganes are prepared to cough up for Carrillo, but are reluctant to go higher than 7.5m for the striker.
Another offer is due to be tabled in the coming days.
