Brighton boss Graham Potter says Chelsea deserved their win on Saturday.

Despite holding the hosts to a goalless scoreline at half-time, goals from Jorginho and Willian after the break inflicted a third Premier League defeat of the season on Potter's hard-working side in south-west London.

He said, Overall, Chelsea deserved to win the game. They played well, forced us back and we rode our luck in the first half, in terms of the chances they had.

Second half we gave a goal away quite cheaply, but we then grew into the game, had our best spell and then gave away another goal which killed the game.

There are always things that we can improve. We were playing against a good team and you don't get too many moments, so when you do get them, you have to be clinical.

We're disappointed with the result, but from a players' perspective, they gave everything, it's just the opposition were better today and were worthy winners."
