
Kota Kinabalu: Eighty flood victims from 26 families were evacuated to an evacuation centre following the flooding that occurred in Kampung Suasa in Beaufort Sunday.
The fire department in a statement said the victims consisted of 11 adult men, 25 adult women, 40 boys and girls and four infants.
AdvertisementThe evacuation started after they received an alert at 3.02pm.
All the victims were evacuated using four-wheel drive vehicles and lorries from the flooded location in Kampung Suasa to the Selagon Hall evacuation centre.
