KOTA KINABALU: Bengkoka Assemblyman Datuk Harun Durabi called for better profiling of hardcore poor aid after finding that some listed households own farms and several cars while genuinely needy famillies are left out.

When debating the Head of State Police Speech, Tuesday, he also raised concern over Bengkoka's infrastructure deficit, saying 80 per cent of its villages have no piped water and 40 per cent have no electricity.

He urged the government to increase funding to the Rural Development and Food Security and Agriculture ministries to address the gaps.
