80 take part in PBS charity golf tournament

Kota Kinabalu: A total of 80 players took part in the charity golf tournament held in conjunction with Parti Bersatu Sabah’s (PBS) 38th anniversary at the Sabah Golf and Country Club on Saturday.

Four categories were competed with the Open title won by Adrian Alang, Khairol Majide took the Closed Gross title and the Closed Nett title went to Richard Madanan, while the VIP winner was Tan Peng Yuan.

The event officiated by party deputy president Datuk Seri Joachim Gunsalam managed to collect RM8,000 and it will be donated to those in need such as orphanages and the elderly.

Joachim, who is also the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Local Government and Housing, expressed his appreciation to all the contributors consisting of government and non-government companies, agencies and some individuals as well as all the participants.
