80s songstress Rohana Jalil dies, aged 68

PETALING JAYA: Popular 80s singer Rohana Jalil died last night at the age of 68.

Rohana was reported to have drawn her last breath surrounded by her family at about 11.30pm at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM), as reported by mStar.

It is understood that the final rites and prayers will be conducted at the Al-Falah Mosque in USJ 9, Subang Jaya. Her burial will take place before Zohor at the USJ21 Muslim cemetery.

Previously, it was reported that Rohana, who had been admitted to HCTM’s intensive care unit since March 28 due to intestinal perforation, had been transferred to the hospital’s high dependency unit.
