Former AS Roma fullback Ashley Cole says Chris Smalling won't find it easy in Italy.
The Manchester United defender has joined Roma on a season-long from Manchester United.
Cole told TMW: "It won't be easy.
"The fans are expecting a lot. It is a difficult championship, one of the best leagues in the world and they are expecting a lot from him. He is a good centre-half, skilled in challenges and a good buy for Roma. I wish him luck.
"It is an intense experience. Win a match, you are the best. You lose it you are not good. But Smalling has played for a great club like Manchester United and knows how to handle certain expectations."
