In case you were unaware, consuming puffer fish may be quite dangerous, especially if it is not prepared properly.

Years of practice are needed to master the skill of puffer fish preparation, even for a professional chef.

Sadly, the 83-year-old woman who recently bought the puffer fish on Facebook was thought to have been poisoned and was declared dead after eating the fish the same day.

While it was known that she and her husband had cleaned and cooked the fish before eating it, by 3 o'clock they began to exhibit signs of respiratory problems and shivering.

But, according to the authorities, the District Health Office in question had already taken all of the fish for examination and there had been no new reports relating to fish sold on that day up to this point.

The woman's husband is currently being treated in the ICU.
