
SANDAKAN: Eighty-four pints of blood were collected at a Blood Donation Campaign jointly organised by SAPP Tanjong Papat and Sabah Shun Tak Association at Centre Court, Sejati Walk, here, on Sunday.
SAPP Vice President cum Sandakan Zone GRS Vice Chairman cum Tanjong Thomas Lau said the programme aimed to replenish the hospital’s Blood Bank.
“We hope through this campaign, it will be able to help all those in need,” said Thomas who is also Tanjong Papat Chinese Community Head.
He thanked all involved, including staff of HDOK Transfusion Medicine Department and Sabah Shun Tak Organisation.

Several events were held such as children’s drawing competition aimed at developing talent, singing, traditional and modern music performances and sales of local products.
