Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Housing and Urban Development Board (LPPB) has offered new homes to 111 residents of the soon-to-be demolished Tanjung Aru low-cost flats.
However, only 25 of them have taken up the offer, Putatan MP Datuk Ir. Shahelmey Yahya told the residents in a dialogue session on Friday.
He said the State Government is firm with the decision of terminating tenancy agreements as the dilapidated building is unfit for habitation.
