Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is already fed-up with VAR after yesterday's 5-0 rout of West Ham.

The system caused delays during City's romp at West Ham and the visiting fans sang What the f*** is going on?"

Guardiola said: Maybe the intensity and passion will leave. It is going to change the dynamic not just for the team but also for the spectators.

You have to be calm and be strong, this will be a good lesson. Maybe it will be quicker in future."

And Guardiola reckons uncertainty over the VAR system could suck joy out of the game.

He added: You have to celebrate a goal when it's clear.

When there are doubts, you can celebrate but always be focused because maybe it's not regular and you have to continue and not lose your momentum. This is going to happen many times."
