Burnley striker Jay Rodriguez was delighted to score in their 2-2 draw at Aston Villa.
He hopes this is just the beginning after he helped Burnley secure another valuable point.
It was a great feeling. To get back in the game was really important at the time and you can't beat scoring," said Rodriguez, who came off the bench to help spark a fightback completed by Chris Wood's third goal in two games.
It's always important to get off the mark. You always look forward to the first one and I hope there are many more to come.
I will keep my head down, keep doing the same things, keep working hard and try to take my chances.
The competition for places is great, and I think you need that. It's healthy competition. We all want everyone to do well and I think that's a real good recipe tomove forward and it's good to be part of."
