Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is ready to commit to a new contract.
Goal says the England international is ready to sign a new deal after speaking to Lampard in one of his first acts since his return to Stamford Bridge as boss.
The 18-year-old is currently recovering from injury having missed the back-end of last season after rupturing his achilles in a Premier League clash with Burnley.
He had sought confirmation that his first-team chances would still be there when he eventually returns to the fold, which was forthcoming during his chat with the former Derby manager.
As a result, Hudson-Odoi will now consider the that Chelsea have been attempting to get him to sign, which will see his wages jump to around 100,000-a-week.
