KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor sent off the first batch of 137 Sabah pilgrims who will be performing their Haj this year.

They were part of the 962 pilgrims from Sabah who will leave for the holy land to perform their Haj.

The Chief Minister also presented contributions to the pilgrims at a ceremony held at the Tabung Haji building in Sembulan, here on Saturday night.

Present were Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs), Senator Dato Setia Dr Haji Mohd Na'im Haji Mokhtar, Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya, Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Ariffin Arif and State Secretary Datuk Seri Panglima Sr Safar Untong
