Kota Kinabalu: The employability rate of graduates of the Petronas-run Kimanis Training Centre (KTC) has reached 99 per cent, said State Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Arifin Mohd Arif.
He said this reflected KTC’s continued contribution to the national Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) agenda by developing technical capabilities among Sabah’s youths.
Since its establishment in 2011, KTC has produced 211 graduates, a significant milestone in empowering Sabahan youths with in-demand technical skills.
The most recent group of graduates includes 17 trainees from the 2021 intake who graduated during a convocation ceremony held at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), here, Thursday.
