Daniel Alves has welcomed Sao Paulo's swoop for Juanfran.
Former Barcelona and PSG fullback Alves' signing presentation was held yesterday by Sao Paulo and he was asked about their deal for ex-Atletico Madrid fullback Juanfran.
Alves said, "I placed myself at his disposal to help him, he is a person who is changing country and is a great player.
"Sao Paulo is acquiring a great player with Juanfran, he is a very good player tactically, who adapted to play as a fullback.
"He will contribute a lot to Sao Paulo. It is a pleasure to have a champion like him. Sao Paulo is getting things right in the transfers, bringing champions who can bring that spirit."
