Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso insists he's standing by coach Vincenzo Montella.
Montella's future is in doubt after defeat to Lecce.
Commisso said, "There is no news on the coach.
"I have to look at every game individually and how the results arrive. It's true, our position in the table does not make pleasant reading, but that's life.
When things are going badly, you have to protect the team. I spoke to the players and didn't expect this drop in form. We might bring in reinforcements in January."
