One of 2019's standout smartphones was the ASUS ROG Phone II it's everything a gaming phone needs to be and more. We absolutely loved the phone, as you could tell in our review here:

But at RM3,499, its out of the price range for some thankfully, it looks like ASUS has released a much more affordable variant of the ROG Phone II that costs just RM2,499!

Spotted on popular retailers DIrectD, the only difference between the cheaper model and the existing ones is less RAM at 8GB and lower storage space at 128GB that's not so much a deal breaker if you consider that you're still getting everything else that makes the phone special.

There's a Snapdragon 855+ chipset that will run anything and everything, a 6.59-inch FHD 120Hz display, and the improved AirTrigger II. The phone cools down with GameCool II for better thermals and comes with the AeroActive Cooler II, a fan accessory that mounts to the back of your phone.

There's also a massive 6,000mAh battery powering the phone and it supports up to 30W HyperCharge you'll be able to be up and running within an hour.
