Samsung has opened pre-orders for their second-gen foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip this was launched alongside the Galaxy S20 series last month at Samsung's Unpacked event. The pre-order will start at 10am and will be a one-day affair, ending at 10pm today as well. The phone is priced at RM5,888, you can order the phone from Samsung's website.
Pre-order deals for the phone include Samsung Galaxy Z Premier Service, which includes 24/7 Premium Careline and one screen protection warranty; plus a one-year device warranty period. You are required to enter the promo code ZFLIPVIP to put in your orders and availability of the device is on first-com-first-served basis.
The phone features a 6.7-inch OLED display panel with very thin bezels and it folds in a clamshell-like manner, which many believe is the proper way to make a foldable phone. The phone folds on a hinge that is covered and has brushes that keep dust out of the mechanism.
Over on the top half of the phone, you'll find a dual-lens setup a 12MP main lens and a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera. For selfies, you turn the phone around and use the same set of cameras while using the tiny display panel next to the cameras as a viewfinder.
Under the hood, the Z Flip comes with a Snapdragon 855+, 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It also has a small 3,300mAh battery but supports up to 15W fast charge.
