Norwich City boss Daniel Farke was pleased with goalscorer Todd Cantwell for their FA Cup defeat to Manchester United.
City almost held on for a penalty shootout after Cantwell's strike had forced extra-time. They were forced to play the additional 30 minutes with ten men after Timm Klose's red card at the end of normal time, only for Harry Maguire to turn home late and see United into the semi-finals.
“I'm pleased for Todd because it was a bit of a dry period for him in terms of goals," Farke said. “Goals are always good for the self confidence of offensive players. When you work hard and can be disciplined in defending, you deserve to have a little bit of luck.
“You have to keep working for the team and then the goals will come to you. On the long-term, you get what you invest in."
