Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone concedes they could lose Thomas Partey at the end of the season.
The Ghana midfielder's contract carries a €50m buyout clause and he is being linked with Mikel Arteta's Arsenal.
Simeone is quoted by the Mirror stating: "Thomas is the one who best understands this position and the transition from defence to attack, shooting, scoring, assists and hitting passes between the lines.
"When he is consistent at his best level, he is so good that all the best teams in Europe look at him."
The 27 year-old has a contract with Atletico to 2023.
