Chelsea manager Frank Lampard wants his young team to gain belief like Manchester City.
The Blues completed an impressive performance to win 2-1 over City at home to continue their push to finish in the top four.
Lampard was delighted with the result, but knows that to get City and Liverpool's level of consistency, they must up their self belief throughout a season.
"There will be no point in us performing like that if we can't get some momentum and sustain it, with focus and hard work," he told Sky Sports.
"There's more belief needed in this team because what Man City showed today, the team has been working for years and building up with a great coach and they have confidence on the ball.
"We have that ability in our team, I believe. But we need to be more confident and believe in ourselves, take the ball, receive the ball and that will come with our team who are young, but that's what we're working towards."
