Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says they face Norwich City in their FA Cup quarterfinal knowing how important the tournament is.

Solskjaer is a twice FA Cup winner with United.

"The FA Cup is fantastic," Solskjaer added. "When you are a young boy back home it was always the last game, the climax of the season, the game you looked forward to, the one that was broadcast live in telly in Norway.

"That goal against [against Liverpool in 1999] was probably my best moment in the FA Cup apart from climbing steps at the old Wembley to get my medal. I played [a part] in the first goal in the '99 final, winning the ball.

“That was a proud moment for me. My dad was in the stands.

"I have lifted it twice as a player. Hopefully I can get a chance to walk out again at Wembley.

“It's a fantastic tournament, it's always been the big one. I am not sure youngsters nowadays really understand what how much it means but our players realise."
