Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mournho has explained his COVID-19 lockdown mishap with Tanguy Ndombele.

The two were seen at Hadley Common in April, when it was necessary for individuals to isolate and not run into people from a different household.

Mourinho admitted afterward that he had made a mistake. Now he has explained the circumstances in more detail.

"I spent two minutes with him, trying to teach him how to use the WiFi GPS, nothing more than that," Mourinho said of Ndombele at a press conference.

"It was nothing. We were working with the players at a distance, on Zoom.

"We were monitoring the players with WiFi GPS. At that time the players were allowed to go and run in the street and the park, which is what they were doing."
