Tottenham have jumped into the battle for Lille defender Gabriel.
Tottenham have bid £27million for the in-demand Gabriel, reports Fichajes.net.
The 22-year-old, who made 24 appearances for the Lille this season, is also reportedly wanted by both Arsenal and Chelsea.
But Jose Mourinho, who is desperate for defensive reinforcements, is reportedly looking to steal a march on the deal, with Jan Vertonghen looking likely to leave this summer on a free transfer.
Toby Alderweireld has also lost his place in the team following football's restart.
