Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has praised Marcus Rashford for his work regarding UK's school lunch vouchers.
The Norwegian has hailed Rashford after earlier this week he forced the government into a U-turn over their decision not to extend school meal vouchers over the summer.
Rashford has earned widespread praise for his efforts to feed vulnerable children during the coronavirus pandemic.
Solskjaer said: “What Marcus has done has been incredible. Coming up through the academy the club recognised that.
“He's changed the lives of so many kids this summer and that is more important than any game he will play.
“As a club and me as his manager, it's been fantastic to follow Marcus during the lockdown. Not only the last thing where he's got the Prime Minister to change his mind, but what he's done over the last few months.
"He's a top, top human being and he's brought his own experiences into this.
“He's already been captain of the club at a young age and he's improving all the time as a human, as well as a player of course."
