Olivier Giroud has welcomed new Chelsea signing Timo Werner.
It was confirmed by Chelsea this week that a deal for the RB Leipzig striker had been struck.
And RB Leipzig have since announced Werner will not take part in their Champions League campaign and will depart as soon as the Bundesliga season concludes.
As such, Werner could be training with Giroud and his new Chelsea teammates inside the next fortnight.
Giroud said, "He will be a very good recruit and for the attackers, this will be an additional motivation."
