Italy coach Roberto Mancini has called on Emerson Palmieri to leave Chelsea.
The Italy fullback is being linked with a return to Serie A, where Juventus and Inter Milan are both keen.
Mancini admits Emerson needs to be playing regularly to be sure of a place in next summer's Euros squad.
"In the Premier he does not play continuously. I would like him to find a starting role in Italy," Mancini told Gazzetta dello Sport.
Mancini also remarked on Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne's form under coach Rino Gattuso.
He added: "With Gattuso he's found enthusiasm. He is the soul of Napoli."
